Leads the day-to-day production operations of the content team; organizing workflow, providing long-term goals, short-term goals and objectives. Establishing follow-up and evaluation of procedures to increase efficiency and quality. Collaborate with different teams and global markets to ensure standards and processes are up to date.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage all seniors and associates of the assigned department, lead and facilitate initiatives around employee engagementOversee the organization and implementation of workflow and team tasks in the most efficient manner relative to cost, time and accuracy; provide prioritization guidance of work assignmentsMaintain content quality standards within the databasesMaintain workload requirements and inform managers, department seniors, staff and relevant parties of deadline changes, new requirements and client status changesResolve and respond to queries from data sources regarding our policies, products discrepancies and workloads reported by clients sources or channels (when applicable)Contribute and implement ideas and procedures to improve quality and productivityProvide editorial guidanceExecute integration and project activities based on manager directionConduct annual and intermittent performance appraisals, reward and coach/counsel staffWork with product, sales and other stakeholders on new client requestsIdentify new tools as the group and coverage expectations expandActive team leader; effectively communicate changes/updates to staffDevelop employees for personal growth opportunitiesMaintain staffing by selecting, on boarding and overseeing the training of candidatesQUALIFICATIONSProficiency both English and SpanishA Bachelor’s degreeA minimum of three years supervisory experience, leadership skills with a track record that fosters teamwork, engagement and resultsDetail-oriented, demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and has an ability to spot trends and/or anomaliesStrong organizational, analytical, and research skillsStrong technical proficiency (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)Passion and knowledge on news, pop culture, media, as well as popular trends and news in other parts of the world is desiredKnowledge of databases and TV and film industries preferredAs the arbiter of truth, Nielsen Global Media fuels the media industry with unbiased, reliable data about what people watch and listen to. Salary range:
Our salary intelligence calculated a range for this position between $50,000 - $65,000.
