You’re involved with a number of projects and initiatives that promote community, collaboration, and efficiency so team members feel connected to each other and their work. This could have showed up in a number of different projects: from office renovations, to implementing employee programs, and even planning team events.  

What you'll accomplish as Studio Engagement Manager at Timbre Games:
  • Supports Studio Development by:   
  • ensuring our people are exposed to training and mentoring programs
  • maintenance and development of relevant skills matrices   
  • ensuring we use mentoring and training to build mastery to deliver our goals and promote team engagement, cross collaboration, and development 
  • support appropriate group training  

  • Building and executing on a first-class Induction and Onboarding program for new team members; including planning for all new starters and conducting studio and H&S inductions, working with L&D to ensure welcome to Dojo (Sumo’s internal learning and development platform) is up to date and ready 
  • Recruitment engagement, working in collaboration with recruitment & hiring managers to support and help elevate our candidate and hiring experience 
  • Supporting studio engagement and wellbeing by working in unison with HR and our leadership to implement new programs and initiatives that support our people  
  • Ensuring our facilities and operations enable our team members to work at their best level along with discovery of new techniques and ideas to allow people to work better 
  • Work alongside our People & Finance Administrator to ensure new team member paperwork and onboarding process is optimized
  • Be a champion for employee benefits, ensuring benefits are understood by our people, supporting comms of new benefits to the studios and championing wellbeing (financial, mental and physical) 
  • Ideate and plan social and activities and larger team events in collaboration with Timbre leadership and HR 
  • Supporting managers to plan for team absences, holiday planning, day to day team wellbeing, blockers and opportunities to improve team health and happiness, etc seeking and collaborating with HR where required
  • Act as an additional guide to support people towards appropriate mental health support such as MHFA, EAP, Help at Hand, Timbre HR team, etc.
  • Collaborating with the studio leadership and Sumo HR to ensure studio culture and overall employee health is aligned to our company values, working alongside team members to identify opportunities for innovation, new programs, etc.   
  • Manage and support the development of internal studio admin team 
  • Own the effective and transparent studio-wide communication across the studio, ensuring teams know where to find important information and can provide feedback to continue to grow

  • Your track record might include:
  • Extensive experience in an studio or organization-wide administrative management role 
  • Ability to plan and execute events and programs that promote and increase team connection, engagement, and collaboration 
  • Track Record for elevating operations and administrative programs with a focus on People 
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to exercise initiative, tact, sound judgment and prioritization 
  • Solid project management chops, with the ability to take a concept or program idea through planning and stakeholder management and delivery 
  • Able to observe and maintain the utmost confidentiality  
  • Advanced-level Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint,  and PowerPoint proficiency 
  • Some exposure or knowledge of Miro or Notion as collaboration tools
