The Sr. Video Producer is a key role responsible for coordinating and managing the operational and logistical needs for video content production while elevating the team’s craft, processes and priorities. This role focuses on building and scaling our Video Content Production function and discipline. This person will have multi-functional responsibilities throughout the entire project lifecycle, including planning, managing, and implementing all elements of the video projects, including helping to conceive and shape projects, working with in-house and external talent and subject matter experts while managing outside video agencies. They will enable and be responsible for developing project scope documents, schedules, and approvals as well as be force multiplier that drives scalable and repeatable processes. We are looking for someone who has a keen attention to detail balanced with creative problem solving and fresh thinking as they will be managing the creation of video scripts and storyboards, logistics for video & photography content production plus managing the editing and oversee post-production tasks such as audio, motion design and animation across our product initiatives and B2B2C touch points.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Lead the planning and logistics for the Video Content Production team, including roadmap, costs, timeframes, etc., as well as complete video campaigns for partner teams.
  • Establish strong partnership with product, product marketing managers, clinical and other subject matter experts to help conceive and execute the appropriate range of video projects.
  • Determine format, style and length of video content (live action, animation, stop motion, talking heads, voice overs, audio etc,),  for each project’s purpose (website, social, ads, pitch decks, webinars, events, product launches, sizzle reels, etc.).
  • Manage shoot budgets, allocate resources, set deadlines, scout and obtain locations, and select optimal forms of media for specific projects.
  • Negotiate, contract, and manage third-party vendors – gather estimates, negotiate rates, and monitor quality of output for agencies, consultants, contractors, talent, locations, and product vendors.
  • Oversight of video projects from planning through delivery and developing project scope documents, schedules, and approvals.
  • Manage the creation of video scripts and storyboards, logistics for video shoots, editing and other post-production tasks, clearly and precisely communicating what is needed (footage, transitions, animations, etc.)
  • Establish high quality bar such that final deliverables maintain the appropriate production values and Hinge Health brand expression and voice & tone
  • Drive organization and management video content and photography library
  • Track trends in video content, approaches, styles, and technology, and suggest ways to implement them when and where they make sense for Hinge Health

  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Video production experience for a digital media agency, production house, or in-house creative, including working with contractors and agencies, organizing shoots, preparing scripts, and supervising post-production.
  • A strong portfolio of successful, high-quality videos.
  • Proficient with audio/video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, FinalCut Pro, etc.), cameras (video and photography), audio and lighting equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of video production processes and activities.
  • Possesses a strong combination of creativity and attention to detail focusing on what and how to translate/interpret an idea to completed video and final deliverables..
  • Highly skilled at planning, budgeting, and vendor negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects with the ability to anticipate and problem solve potential hurdles.
  • Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals and stakeholders  from diverse cultures, backgrounds and orientations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment

  • Pursuant to State Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

    Colorado & New York State annual salary: $114,200 - $142,800
    New York City annual salary: $134,400 - $168,000
