The Role: Software Engineer, NFL Content and Augmentation

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Content and Augmentation group to build and deliver our upcoming NFL video augmentation product. This group works closely with our Artificial Intelligence, Platform, Video Streaming, Product and Creative groups, developing infrastructure and algorithms to deliver live streams and highlights augmented with data insights and visual effects.

 

What You’ll Do:

Develop content generation and augmentation pipeline for NFL and potentially other sports leagues

Coordinate and iterate with engineering, product, creative and operational colleagues

Develop systems and algorithms for generating data-driven visual effects, insights and highlights based on multiple data sources, including tracking, eventing, and statistics

Build, test, deploy and maintain production systems

Build tools and infrastructure to facilitate iteration, testing, monitoring and quality assurance

Maintain best practices for software development, including deployment process, documentation and coding standards

Infrastructure, tools: AWS (S3, EC2), Docker, Pulsar, Kibana, Grafana

Requirements

What You Have:

Thorough knowledge and interest in American football/NFL

BSc or MSc or equivalent experience with a strong software engineering component

Experience with at least two of the languages and technologies in our stack

Like to collaborate with others to solve problems, share knowledge, and provide feedback

Strong communication skills when discussing technical concepts with technical and non-technical colleagues

Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an efficient manner

Enjoy working with a team

Our work revolves around sports. You will need to be flexible and have availability for on-call work, outside of regular work hours, as needed
