Senior Strategic Marketing Manager - E-Commerce (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Support and help evolve our digital commerce strategy via thorough understanding of our varied prospect business user personas and their needs and a developed understanding of our suite of business products,
  • Translate our business unit’s overarching strategy into a more tactical vision for our ecommerce experience, and appropriately leverage data across our spectrum of sources, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Lead specific initiatives from our ecommerce strategy in collaboration with the Product Engineering as well as the Data and Finance Team all the way from ideation through compliance reviews to post-release analytics.
  • Contribute to our evolving digital commerce practice, bringing thoughts to improve the team's processes and structure, the way we think about digital acquisition and transition to a view of that journey as a product in itself, and push us into newer areas/domains of discussion around growth and conversion opportunities.
  • Mentor and lead a small team of employees and contractors – helping them with their professional development plans while contributing to their growth in the digital commerce space.
  • Your profile
  • 4-6+ years experience in relevant domains (e.g. digital commerce/ecommerce, digital merchandising, digital retail, online marketplaces) and proven track record of improving digital commerce customer experiences, in both strategic and more tactical roles.
  • Proven experience in making sense of business strategy and financial business goals, and ultimately correlating those with product and user-level metrics/KPIs as we iterate across the channel.
  • Familiarity with various qualitative/quantitative user research methods, test-and-learn processes, software, and best practices.
  • Relevant knowledge of user experience and design principles in the ecommerce space, experience collaborating with designers and product managers.
  • Technical acumen in order to facilitate conversations with the Product Engineering Team.
  • Comfortable with being on the “business side” of the digital channel, leveraging strategic thinking/leadership and influence to drive tactical product improvements, and, most importantly, pro-actively managing all of our stakeholders in a collaborative and inspiring manner.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills - other languages are a plus.
