Major League Baseball is changing the landscape of the live sports and entertainment industry. The Senior Software Engineer position is responsible for creating the code that powers the baseball experience for our fans.  We are looking for a motivated and experienced senior software engineer to design, develop, and implement the next generation of our cloud-based microservice platform. 

You’ll be joining the Sports Emmy-nominated team behind Sporty Bot and Film Room.  Some of the projects you will be working on include: building GraphQL APIs that can handle millions of concurrent users, creating an NLP based video search, working on a recommender system to suggest the right content to our fans and building video processing pipelines. 

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with other world-class engineers, product developers, and designers; contribute to award-winning and complex apps and systems; influence the innovation of products used by millions globally; support all 30 MLB clubs and work in a highly collaborative, results-oriented, team environment.

Using cutting edge technology, our software is consumed by fans, broadcasters, stadiums, MLB clubs and the league itself.  We are looking for Software Engineers that are passionate about building new technologies for the baseball industry.
