The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Sr Supply Planning Manager to lead our non-Rx supply planning team to optimize inventory levels, ensuring we deliver convenient and effective care to our patients. This role will report into the Director of Supply Planning and Sourcing. This person will work closely with cross-functional partners across Pharmacy, Inventory Control, Finance, Demand Planning, Brand and Category Leads. This person will be responsible for all Medical Device, OTC, and Packaging inventory, building structure to maintain in-stock across all locations while reducing overall inventory levels, and mitigating obsolete inventory. The ideal candidate will have a background in consumer product goods (CPG) with proven success in managing and planning a network of inventory with strong communications and presentation skills.
What You’ll Do:Monitor inventory health for all non-RX inventory including Medical Devices, OTC drugs, Supplements and packagingProactively identify areas of risk across supply chain and provide mitigation strategy to leadershipReport out on inventory obsolescence risk, identifying root causes of scrap risk, and developing strategies to reduce impact to marginSupport implementation of supply planning portion of inventory procurement softwareMaintain strong relationship with cross-functional stakeholders including Pharmacy, Finance, Category leads, Demand Planning, and Inventory ControlManage component level inventory at suppliers, ensuring we have appropriate components available to support production needs for finished goodsPresent planning KPIs within S&OP meetings with Care Verticals, communicating inventory position and operational metrics to ops leadership and cross-functional leadersHold suppliers accountable to on-time delivery KPIs, representing Supply Planning within QBRsCoach and develop supply planning team of two planners on planning best practicesWhat You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, logistics or other related fieldMinimum of 7-9 years experience in a supply chain/purchasing role with people management experienceDetailed knowledge of logistics, inventory management, & supply chain best practicesExcellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to leadershipExperience working with Netsuite or other ERP systems requiredExperience with system implementation is a plusAdvanced Excel SkillsThe target base salary for this position ranges from $119,850 to $148,500, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
