The Sales Executive role
Sales Executive will have full territory responsibilities in selling StatsBomb data packages and other products such as “Pro Scouting” to clubs, leagues, media companies and sports betting syndicates and operators. Deals range from low five figures to six figure deals, and sales executive will earn 12.5% commission on all deals that sign as new customers.
Role will be based in Spain, with frequent travel expected in the regions and occasionally to Bath, UK for company meetings.
The ideal candidate should have:
3-5+ years of sales background, ideally in B2B software sales
Ability to understand the StatsBomb SaaS platform and data analytics for football and translate that to target customer prospects
Ability to source own leads among football clubs, leagues, media organizations and sports betting syndicates and operators
Eloquence and comfort in presenting to senior executives in person and over videoconferences
Tireless work ethic around all aspects of a sales funnel, from awareness to generating creative proposals and closing contracts
Daily/weekly updates for all sales activity logged in Salesforce
Positive, team oriented attitude that works collaboratively with other sales execs, marketing, the StatsBomb headquarters including tech and analysts
Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English
Passion for football (soccer) and familiarity with leagues and teams across territory
Willingness to travel on a budget
Sales Executive will report to Chief Commercial Officer and will be expected to interact frequently with General Manager for Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
