We are growing fast and looking to raise the bar on the experience for a product that has already changed countless lives through key design hires. 

WHOOP is seeking a Lead Product Designer with strong UX thinking, design execution, and leadership skills to own and evolve the WHOOP experience. As a key part of the design team, you’ll help define, iterate, and evolve business-critical features from concept to launch. In particular, you have a solid foundation in both UX and UI, and have a proven track record of designing and shipping impactful products. 

As part of the WHOOP Growth team, you feel comfortable working at a fast pace to drive new member acquisition, retention, as well as accessory sales via our storefront. Web-based experiences are second nature; native mobile experience is a plus.  

  • Own the creative process across several product teams by iterating feature concepts from early discovery to launch and beyond
  • Ideate on broad user experience concepts through customer research, journey mapping, storyboarding, etc  
  • Solve complex design problems by producing mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Work closely with an engineering team to bring designs to life through planning, development, and validation 
  • Build and promote empathy with how new customers think about the WHOOP membership and what drives them to purchase
  • Manage, mentor, and guide 1-2 designers within a shared domain

  • 5+ years designing and scaling digital products
  • Expertise owning the entire product design process and a history of launching major features from start to finish
  • A portfolio showing a proven track record of shipping impactful, consumer-facing product designs
  • Work samples that demonstrate your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • A passion and/or experience in the health and performance space

  • This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
