About this Role

Playco is looking to bring on a local IT Specialist to support both our Mountain View office as well as our remote global team. We are a remote forward company, but our Mountain View office will occasionally be a place for teams to meet up, collaborate, and work face-to-face. On top of remote IT support work for all the employees distributed globally, you will be the go-to person for configuring our onsite workstations, managing Playco assets and inventory, as well as providing local IT support when requested. Your role will also have you managing portions of our onboarding and off-boarding to create a seamless and efficient experience for all Playco employees.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory management for all Playco owned assets
  • Assist with onboarding new Playco employees, issuing hardware, shipping devices, setting up accounts and access
  • Assist with off-boarding by removing access, collecting equipment, rei-maging devices, and preparing devices to be reissued
  • Documenting procedures and tracking projects in our project management board
  • Working tickets and requests from our IT ticketing system
  • Occasional hands on support of our Mountain View office including setup of flexible workstations, asset management, general IT troubleshooting, and occasional in-person support

  • Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience working in the IT field
  • Experience with working an IT ticketing system and being assigned project work
  • Experience working with Google Workspace/G-Suite, Asana, Slack, Zoom, and other remote focused technologies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of MacOS/iOS and understanding of how to setup and manage Apple devices
  • Ability to commute to our Mountain View, California office (≤10% of the time)
  • Ability to physically move devices (monitors, computers, chairs, desks) at the office
