As the Performance Marketing Director at Sporty, you'll be responsible for owning the marketing strategy for products used by millions of daily global users. You'll collaborate with talented stakeholders across our remote-working organisation to establish clear and measurable goals, and create marketing campaigns that excite and engage customers globally.

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving customer acquisition and retention through the management of all digital marketing channels. You are expected to bring a forward-thinking mindset to our marketing department, utilising new methods and technologies, such as AI, to drive innovation and optimise marketing performance.

- Develop, implement, and manage performance marketing campaigns globally across all digital channels including SEM, SEO, programmatic display, influencer and affiliate marketing
- Drive our customer acquisition, retention, and churn strategies through the creation of targeted, data-driven campaigns that are optimised for ROI
- Use data analytics and marketing technologies to inform decisions and iterate on marketing campaigns to drive growth and achieve KPIs
- Own the forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of acquisition and retention performance and budgets
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners, such as affiliate partners, media buying agencies, and influencers
- Lead and maintain a mar-tech strategy, continuously evaluating and improving upon the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing processes and infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal teams, specifically the product team, to develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align with the product team's delivery schedule
- Research and implement AI-powered tools to optimise marketing efforts across various disciplines, including SEO, advertising, paid media, and CRM
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer acquisition and retention, including referral programs, loyalty programs, and other tactics
- Recruit, manage, lead, and motivate a team of marketing professionals, ensuring the team builds and maintains a deep understanding of our technology and customers
- Analyse and report on competitive trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to inform and improve marketing strategies, identifying opportunities to build a competitive advantage through intelligent marketing


- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Portuguese and or Spanish language skills are a plus
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or a related field
- Experience implementing high-growth performance marketing strategies in emerging markets, specifically in the sports betting and casino industry
- Demonstrable evidence of making data-justified marketing decisions, and experience using data and analytics to optimise campaigns and achieve KPIs
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEM, SEO, CRM, influencer and programmatic advertising methods, and experience developing and implementing successful campaigns in these areas
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to analyse customer and competitor behaviours and develop effective marketing campaigns that drive growth
- The ability to influence within a fast-paced and distributed environment, and experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on achieving measurable results
- Experience defining and tracking OKRs or a similar goal-setting framework
- A track record of developing, leading, and managing high-performing marketing teams
- Enthusiastically committed to establishing oneself as top talent in the field of Marketing as well as pursuing development of own knowledge base and abilities through constant learning
