What is Tonsser?

Tonsser is the leading app and platform for youth football players in Europe with more than 1.4m players using the app to unlock their potential. The focus has been on building an excellent user experience that motivates, inspires and empowers players to be the best they can be and share it with the community... and discover life-changing opportunities.

With the vision of democratising the football industry to create equal access to opportunities, we make it possible for players to build identity and capture their performance through stats and video to compare with the community and earn attention from both local and global clubs.

On top of our free app, we are building a 21st century football club, Tonsser United. A transformative football club born out of digital community to create opportunities for underrated and unsigned players. Already, Tonsser United have played and competed against clubs like PSG, Juventus, FC Porto, Marseille, Lille and Lyon - and we are seeing how the unsigned players are busting myths about talent identification and how many highly talented players who are out there, just waiting for the right chance.

The role

As Event Marketing Specialist, you will be a key role to create opportunities for aspirational youth football players & create match with professional clubs. Your role will be to work on creating the best marketing plan around our events as well as structure the operations to deliver these events. Responsibilities include :

- Successfully implement and run our event strategy (with support)
- Drive popularity and attendance, to our Tonsser United events
- Create clear, concise, organized communications materials (event plans, guidelines, presentations, playbooks, etc.) that tie into the overall comms plan and strategy
- Develop project timelines that considers broader team activities
- Identifies necessary resources to succeed and works effectively with peers to gain support
- Measure both broad event campaigns and individual activations and shares learnings with others to apply to recommendations for future events
- Manage registration, travel, and housing arrangements for internal team members attending national events


Qualities we are looking for

- A proven project specialist who’s capable of building, delivering and tracking event marketing campaign
- A first pro club experience is optional, but highly appreciated
- A team player who knows that success is not a solo mission
- A football player/coach who wants to live his/her dream by working in a tech football environment
- A rising talent who wants to prove himself/herself by having responsibilities and ownership
- A natural born executor who likes to push himself/herself by setting ambitious goals
- A people’s person that always keeps cool regardless of the size of the challenge
- Fluent in English & in French
- Be comfortable with and good at talking to multiple stakeholders be it via email, in person or on the phone
- Be a fast learner and have a facility with technology

Availability: 
The contract in March for a period of 6 months. 
It is a full-time, 5 days a week position totalling 37.5 hours a week.
