The team adds value by smart, scalable, consumer centric initiatives using data & insights to fuel & validate the proposition.
The team scope is global with expertise in all regions, core markets (DACH, UK, FRA, ITA, ESP, LaTam, Indonesia) across all channels. All aspects of the brand experience from positioning to look & feel to voice are driven by the department in collaboration with functional experts. Always keeping the consumer at the core of everything we do to drive better & more impactful decision making.
Event Management is a newly created role with the following key objectives.
Drive a holistic events framework for all our event angle – internal & external across all audiences: employees, consumers, B2B partners & investors
Develop industry relevant, innovative B2B event formats to create brand awareness / share of voice, drive engagement & unlock conversion
Establish a strong consumer brand voice amongst our core markets through offline experiences
The Event Manager will join the Global Brand Marketing department and will report into the Head of Global Brand Marketing to generate successful consistent offline experiences across all our audiences to strengthen brand awareness, share of voice and positively influence the LTV.
Additionally you will be responsible for internal events working closely with the People & Internal Communications Teams as well as shareholder events working closely with the Investor Relations & Corporate Communications Teams.
Success in the role will be judged on your ability to implement scalable event frameworks for all respective target audiences from scratch & executional excellence of all OneFootball event formats.
Having a strong project & stakeholder management skill set is core to this role.
YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES ON THE PITCHPoint of contact for all OneFootball events Key Stakeholder Management across the organisation with main stakeholders being Management, People team, Brand, Communications & respective business functions Management of external partners such as agencies & suppliers for events where applicable Managing & leading the events end to end Event Theme & Gifting Invitation Management & Communication Budget Management incl. forecasting, cost negotiation, invoice management, reconciliation Venue recce, liaison, shortlist, cost negotiation, selection & booking Menu & catering liaison, shortlist, cost negotiation, selection & bookingGuest Management including Travel & Accommodation options negotiations, liaison, selection & booking
PLAYERS PROFILEFor this role our ideal candidate is very self-driven, open minded, has strong communication & leadership skills and has an autonomous way of working. The ideal candidate should be used to work in x-functional environments & has managed B2B & B2C events before with a strong eye for design and attention to detail. You bring 4-5 years of relevant working experience in similar role, at least 3 years in a role at Manger or Senior Manager level and have explicit experience in End to End event management for B2B and B2CStrong project management & stakeholder management skills Comfortable operating in a complex matrix organizationStrong aesthetic eye and taste level; passionate for events and detail no matter if it’s for 10 or 10.000 people Strong presentation skills at leadership levelCollaborative; able to liaise closely across different levels of the organizationPro-active & responsive with a service oriented mindsetResults driven through a pragmatic driven approachTeam player and natural at building informal networkHigh level business understanding of GDPRHighly flexible.
