The Director of Game Presentation will build and lead a team dedicated to producing the most engaging and exciting game experience in sports. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Game Presentation will be responsible for the creative vision, implementation, and execution of the in-arena experience for the LA Clippers and Ontario Clippers (our NBA G-League franchise). The Director of Game Presentation will oversee all game presentation and entertainment staff including in-arena hosts, mascot, crowd crew, dance teams, game night staff, music staff, and other entertainment assets.
This is a full-time role based out of our DTLA office and is eligible for our competitive benefit offerings including health insurance, Wellbeing Allowance and 401(k) with company contribution.

What You Will Do
- Develop breakthrough content and unparalleled fan experiences.
- Direct all LA Clippers home games and other events as required
- Design and develop game day and event show content, coordinating run of show and script writing for all departments.
- Serve as executive producer of all video board content production including the video open, in-game features and other video elements.
- Coordinate shoots with players for in-arena video board features.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Partnership department to develop in-game promotions that maximize the fan experience and partnership satisfaction.
- Oversee all in-game music production.
- Oversee the selection of National Anthem, Color Guard and Halftime performances.
- Research new talent in the music and entertainment industries to enhance the entertainment experience.
- Lead pre-game rehearsals for all show elements.
- Provide direction to all entertainers and game night staff to ensure every contest, performance, and sponsored element is accurately implemented.
- Lead all aspects of staffing, development and execution of the Ontario Clippers (our G-League franchise) show and in-game experience.
- Collaborate with internal departments to promote internal initiatives in-arena.
- Manage the Game Presentation budget.
Your Background, Skills and Experience
- 7 – 10 years experience in a related position are required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in live entertainment production.
- Basketball and sports experience preferred.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and encouraging working relationships.
- Must be willing to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects at once, be self-directed, work independently and handle creative direction/feedback.
- Must be able to adapt to situational changes and schedule or accommodate changing needs.
- Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee multiple departments and projects at one time.
- Must demonstrate success in budget management and control.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion with regard to interpersonal relationships; a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence is imperative.
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative group environment, be a flexible and reliable team player (both within own department and within company as a whole).
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.
- Must have outstanding organizational skills and be comfortable with Excel.
- Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
- Director of Game Presentation will be expected to attend all games at Crypto.com Arena, as well as other events that may take place on weekends and/or holidays.
