Technology is at the core of everything we do. Our technology team helps us deliver a mobile-first experience across platforms (Android & iOS) while managing over 140 million rpm (requests per minute) at peak with a user concurrency of 8 million.
We have over 150 micro-services written in Java and backed by a Vert.x framework. These work with isolated product features with discrete architectures to cater to the respective use cases.
We work with terabytes of data, the infrastructure for which is built on top of Kafka, Redshift, Spark, Druid, etc. and it powers a number of use cases like Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. Our tech stack is hosted on AWS, with distributed systems like Cassandra, Aerospike, Akka, Voltdb, Ignite, etc.
Your Role:Understand and solve real business needs at a large scale by applying your engineering and analytical problem-solving skillsWork closely with product, design, analytics, security and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning of tech processesBe responsible for project planning, supervising the execution, resolving conflicts and effectively communicating proposed solutions, technical challenges and project updates to all stakeholdersGuide the team in designing distributed & scalable architecture and help them build it in a reliable and secure mannerEnsure the best software development practices are followed in the teamTaking an active role in hands-on development, including coding, debugging & troubleshooting complex technical issuesStay updated on industry trends and drive innovation by proposing & implementing new technologies and processesQualifiers:8+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable products in Java or ScalaHands-on experience working with web frameworks, relational/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms like AWS and big data technologies such as Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.Experience working in an agile environment and handling a variety of stakeholders across different verticals with effective communication skills on a daily basis.Past experience of hiring & mentoring individuals in the team and helping them in their career progressionAbout Dream Sports:

Salary range:
Our salary intelligence calculated a range for this position between $90,000 - $120,000.
