Your responsibilities

  • Set and lead the product vision and strategy
  • Develop deep understanding and context to create and own a winning product strategy/vision, and collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to create value for our users and achieve business targets
  • Own the why and how of the Freeletics product roadmap and leverage  the product through consistent and concise communication throughout the organization

  • Develop and significantly scale the product team
  • Upskill the capabilities of the current product team, coach and roll up sleeves when necessary to work with the team while providing strong leadership, development, inspiration, mentorship and thoughtful guidance
  • Drive growth of the product organization and support recruiting efforts through your visibility and network

  • Own the why & how of our product and drive execution speed and impact
  • Collaborate with an incredible, cross-functional team of engineers, designers and scrum masters, as well as data and marketing teams to deliver impactful features and ensure a holistic product experience
  • Develop world class product processes and maintain good collaboration with the engineering team to ensure lean and agile execution
  • Develop deep business understanding and stay intimately connected to our users (online and offline) in order to bring the user voice into the product creation process
  • Own product metrics and drive Freeletics product growth goals
  • Represent Freeletics to the outside community through active hosting of product events, participation in external events, conferences, meetups, thought leadership groups, etc
  • Your profile
  • Relevant Scale
  • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with user subscription/B2C products
  • Successfully grown & led a product organization of at least 25+ people in a greater context of 6+ cross- functional product-engineering teams
  • Experienced in scaling rapid-growth products with >25 M user/€50m revenue
  • Strong network and visibility in the industry that can support Freeletics on it’s growth journey
  • Passion for and ability to develop a deep understanding of the fitness space

  • Expert in driving product enhancements through data analysis, research, user testing, and A/B testing

  • Strategic and systems thinking combined with execution strength
  • Systems thinking and delivery – proven experience delivering simple, delightful products with underlying complexity that serve a range of consumer segments
  • Proven track record of success in fast moving, cross-functional and demanding environments
