The Building Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations at the Kia Forum as determined by the Director, Building Operations. The Supervisor will work with the third-party cleaning vendor to ensure all areas of the Kia Forum have a clean, fresh and attractive appearance. Supervise operations crew in building riser, stage and setting floor chairs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and assigns daily work schedules for operations crew members in coordination with the Director, Building Operations.
- Supervises and directs operations team.
- Inspect and maintain all house equipment related to operations.
- Ensures adherence to cleaning procedures and company policies with third-party vendor.
- Inspects various areas of the building before, during and after events for cleanliness and safety.
- Assists in ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies, equipment and maintains records.
- Assists with and reviews team members attendance, timesheets, and payroll records.
- Trains new team members on department protocol and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overnights, weekends and holidays.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as defined by the CDC.
- Previous building and custodial operations within a large sports/entertainment complex, and/or commercial building preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience required with demonstrated experience training, motivating and handling progressive disciplinary issues.
- Possess knowledge of and/or familiarity with cleaning equipment, supplies and methods.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
Compensation:
Target salary range for this role is $55,000 - $62,000 per year.
