Partnership Activation
- Be the key point of contact for FC Barcelona partners within the Club
- Design, develop and execute a partnership strategy that amplifies the partner’s brand message whilst maintaining the integrity of FC Barcelona
- Liaise with partners (and affiliated agencies) to assist and ensure activations are within FC Barcelona’s guidelines
- Provide activation ideas and a marketing plan proposal to partners proactively
- Assist different departments to work on and update activation guidelines to partners
- Ability to effectively present information to partners and internal representatives and respond to questions from managers and clients
- Advise and support Business Development Team on partnership proposals, implementation, research and maintenance
- Work as assigned to execute and monitor partners’ promotions and activities
- Manage and track all account history, relationship details and partnership activation details on a consistent basis
- Play an essential role in maintaining collateral, articles, photographs, newspaper clippings, press releases, statistics, etc. for use in preparing and presenting inclusive sponsor recaps to key decision makers during the contract renewal process
- Play a key part in executing online and offline campaigns with FC Barcelona and the partner
- Ensure 100% of contractual assets are activated with the partner
- Ensure invoices are paid in a timely fashion
- Identify upsell opportunities within existing partners
- Provide the Club with external case studies within partnership marketing
- Be the point of contact within FC Barcelona for internal queries about partner accounts
Requirements:-
Knowledge
- Development and execution of marketing campaigns, through the use of relevant insights, powerful creative ideas and excellent execution
- Knowledge of the world of sport, especially football
- Knowledge of Sports Marketing trends and market
- Experience in marketing/communications/events management in a global business would be beneficial
- Understanding of the role that sponsorship plays within the marketing mix
Abilities
- Capacity to build relationships externally and internally in order to carry out activities
- Ability to create marketing and activation plans in a compelling and engaging manner
- Dynamic and pro-active with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to create impactful presentations on power point or similar
- Multitasking, with the ability to prioritise
- Curious profile and affinity for market trends
- Ability to work under pressure
- Native Mandarin Speaker with Excellent English written skills
- Strong client facing people skills
