As an Account Manager with Stack Sports - CaptainU, you will develop strong relationships with customers, connect with key business executives and stakeholders, prepare business review reports, as well as be the point of contact for CaptainU’s Event Operator Partners and National Governing Body Partners. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs, while improving their overall experience. Our ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations.

Need to Have

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or related field, OR equivalent experience
• 1-3 years in Account Management or Partnership Management with technology or software
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
• Solid experience with Salesforce and G-Suite/MS Office
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environment
• Strong work ethic and passion for excellence

Great to Have

• Experience and/or understanding of organized Sports League Management  
• Experience supporting and or troubleshooting software
• Experience with Slack, Salesforce, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships as you operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to Event Operator Partners
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and forecasts)
• Prepare reports on account status
• Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
• Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
