Responsible for generating product requirements, determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction. Determines user needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes Assesses market competition through comparison and analysis Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering Introduces new products / features by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and engineering Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. These are Your Abilities / Personal Traits & Skills A strong understanding of the gaming / esports industries and community Strong people management skills Strong written and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Highly adaptive - recognizes and understands new industry trends and customer feedback Ability to collaborate with teams across all departments Understanding of the technology being used at Esports One Computer vision Machine learning Data Science What we Need / Qualifications 3+ years of experience in product management at a fast-paced startup / technology company Thorough knowledge of product management software (JIRA) Proven track record of bringing product from concept to market Strong product / market analytical skills Fluent in analyzing market competition Experience with sales and customer relationship management Experience with Agile software development process Currently live in or are willing to move to the Greater Los Angeles area Flexibility to work weekends and nights as required Bonus Points / Nice to Have Sociable - you can strike up a conversation with anyone and are excited to be a part of hard working, yet laid back company culture Previous experience in esports / gaming
