NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position of Manager, Digital Ad Sales in New York office. The Manger, Digital Ad Sales supports the digital advertising sales strategy and opportunities for clients across the company’s digital platform and contributes to the Digital team’s sales revenue goal. The position also takes part in making strategic decisions designed to optimize and improve financial results and will play an integral part in building and selling media plans for clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prospect, source and close deals with brand advertisers and/or media agencies for content sponsorship and advertising Work with internal team to develop new opportunities, ideas or partnerships to secure new client revenue and/or to grow existing brand advertiser digital revenue Work closely with internal teams and industry partners to develop and monetize unique cross-functional revenue opportunities. Understand all partner/client goals and marketing objectives, as well as each’s competitive landscape; coordinate efforts to help achieve these goals & objectives through innovative solutions via the company’s digital and social platforms Engage in exceptional client communication and follow-up to provide a positive end-to-end client experience, from the initial contact through post-campaign results Utilize expertise in navigating media agency dynamics, as well as a thorough knowledge of campaign buying, digital media planning, pricing models, digital revenue operations, ad networks, trading desks and exchanges Travel: 14% including some weekends Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required plus 3 - 5 years of digital advertising sales (or related) experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong working knowledge of Omniture, comScore and other analytical and researched-focus tools and software Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills and comfort level Ability to understand the interactive ad serving infrastructure and technology trends including, mobile, tablet, desktop, and connected devices Ability to work in a fast-paced digital revenue-focused environment Ability to partner effectively with internal and external industry stakeholders IAB Certification in Ad Sales and/or Ad Operations
