As a Developer Advocate, you will be responsible for speaking on behalf of Twitch to this large and diverse community, and assisting developers in achieving their goals. This includes blog posts, coding examples, tutorials, public presentations, social media interactions, and even live streams! You will also be taking feedback from the community and ensuring that the needs of the developers are being considered in our product roadmaps and that immediate concerns are addressed by the internal Twitch engineering team. Your work will help us strengthen both the businesses and the number of developers that deeply integrate Twitch technologies into their products and/or build interactive experiences on Twitch. A successful candidate will have strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, charisma and gravitas that shows to other developers, and great project management skills. Responsibilities Support our developer products and lower the barrier to entry through content creation, such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos. Educate developers (best practices, docs, etc) about the Twitch developer platform and provide feedback to business and engineering teams to help shape products and processes in place for developers. Interacting directly with the developer community via online presence, meetups, conferences, and other speaking opportunities. Maintaining public channels of communication (forums, Twitter, etc) and respond to developer inquiries in a timely manner. Identify the use cases and needs of developers and prioritizing efforts based on those needs. Actively seek solutions and influence product roadmaps around delivering developer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions on behalf of the developer community to enhance their experience.
