People who live, breathe and dream our company DNA. Then we need to help them to perform at the highest possible level. To make this happen, we’re looking for an inspirational Chief People Officer. As CPO, you’ll create a strategy to get the most out of our people, and help them to get the most out of VanMoof. This covers global talent spotting, hiring (and keeping) superstars, developing company culture, and everything in between. You’ll work very closely with our team leaders in Amsterdam, Taipei, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, and beyond – guiding them through the recruitment process and empowering them to lead their teams in the most effective way possible. Key responsibilities: Build a people-oriented performance strategy that matches VanMoof’s DNA Understand the functions and future talent needs of every VanMoof department Scout and meet hundreds of talented people every year, and identify the real superstars before we need them Make our Homerun and LinkedIn page the best possible expression of who we are Design and create a rigorous hiring process that all departments can follow Develop a clear, comprehensive, and inspiring onboarding process that sets every new employee up for success from day one Manage employee review processes, providing guidance for contract extensions and building a career progression plan for every team member The CPO we're looking for has: Minimum 8 years relevant experience, with 3+ years leading a HR department, ideally inside a high-growth company Bonus points for a background or strong interest in psychology Flexible, bold, and determined personality Experience with global teams is strongly preferred Fluent spoken and written English is required, Dutch is a bonus Our offer: Competitive salary Your own VanMoof, of course A creative and transparent working environment in central Amsterdam A spot in our ambitious, friendly, and rapidly growing international team No boring days, ever Now, the touchy-feely stuff: We want someone to change the world with us.
