You are an ambitious, energetic Business Development Manager, willing dedicate your heart and sole to helping expand clientele, and drive rapid and sustainable growth by boosting sales to enable long-term business success. As the front of the company, you will have the dedication,tenacity, and experience to create and apply an effective sales strategy, through forging strong relationships with prospective clients, and external sales partners. About the Role This role’s primary responsibility is to help identify and secure new business relationships, and close sales to achieve quotas. They will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by generating leads and qualifying prospects, negotiating with and closing prospective clients, and managing partners activities. The BD rep will discover and pursue new sales opportunities from inbound leads, as well as employing strategic outbound efforts to generate their own leads to meet personal sales targets. This role will also oversee our external sales partnerships around the world, qualifying and onboarding new partners, and ensuring all team members meet their defined partnership obligations. Ultimately being responsible for meeting overall sales team targets. The BD Rep will use communication skills to cultivate strong relationships both with prospective clients and external partners, from first contact until the deal is closed. It will require a motivated, results-driven attitude, and an enjoyment of working in a team environment. A key skill in this role will be the ability to speak with individuals deeply engrained in the competitive swimming industry. The ability to quickly and completely pick up the nuances of this industry will be imperative to your success in this role. A background in competitive swimming will be a definite asset. Responsibilities · Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities · Do research on leads to predict and deliver on client objectives to reduce sales cycle and improve close rates · Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns · Prepare and deliver appropriate documentation and presentations on products and services · Pro-actively seek out new sales opportunities through strategic cold calling, networking and social media · Travel to potential and existing customer training facilities to demonstrate products and services · Oversee all external sales partners to manage funnels, provide necessary feedback and documentation, and ensure alignment in sales processes and brand values · Identify, present and develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness · Identify customer needs, and suggest appropriate products and services to address · Achieve agreed upon personal and team sales targets and outcomes within schedule · Handle objections, negotiate contract terms and close deals · Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences · Forecast sales, and prepare and present reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress · Participate in team building meetings and training as requested · Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Requirements · Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in achieving and/or exceeding sales targets · Hands-on experience with different sales and negotiation techniques, and pipeline management · Ability and patience to successfully manage international external sales partners · Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills · Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs · Rapport building and relationship management skills, along with an openness to feedback · Prioritizing, time management, planning and organizational skills · Understanding of sales performance metrics · Experience with HubSpot, Xero and Google office products · BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent work experience To apply, please send your resume to katie@tritonwear.com with the subject line "Business Development Manager"
